Best Dentists in Da Nang: 3 Clinics We'd Call First

You can find dozens of dentists in Da Nang. You probably don't need dozens.

These are the three we would call first for implants, crowns or anything more involved: one with a published implant range, one built for complicated work staged across a trip, and one for the second opinion.

Quick answer

For one missing tooth, start with Dr. Bao: it publishes 21-33m VND for a single implant, so you have a baseline before you speak to anyone. For All-on-4 or full-mouth work on fixed flight dates, start with Picasso. Get a third written plan from Lotus Smile before you pay a deposit. Compare the finished-tooth total, never the price of the screw.

The picks

Best for Implants

Dr. Bao Dental Clinic

Best for
One or several implants, and anyone who wants a published number to hold other quotes against.
Typical price
Single implant 21-33m VND
Location
77 Ly Nhan Tong, Cam Le

Why we picked it

It puts implant and crown ranges on its own English service pages instead of making you ask for every basic figure, and it names Dr. Le Ha Quoc Bao as a specialist in oral surgery, dental implants and periodontics.

What we would book

A consultation with scans, then an itemised written plan: implant brand and exact model, abutment, final crown and its material, temporary tooth, extraction, bone graft or sinus lift if relevant, medication, number of visits and the whole timeline.

The implant range is stated over a 7 to 10 day treatment window. The same pages put crowns and bridges at 3 to 6 million VND over three to four days, whitening at 1.5 to 4 million, fillings from 300,000 and extractions from 500,000. The clinic was set up in August 2017 by Dr. Quoc Bao and Dr. Y Nhi, both described on the site as speaking English.

Main downside

Cam Le is inland, away from the beach hotels, so it is a taxi ride rather than a walk if your trip is based around My Khe. The clinic is closed on Mondays, and its own "Price list" page is empty - the figures live on the individual service pages.

Skip it if

Skip it if the job is a full arch that has to be staged around flight dates. That is a logistics problem first, and Picasso is built for it.

Best for Complex Cases

Picasso Dental Clinic Da Nang

Best for
All-on-4, full-mouth rehabilitation and multi-stage treatment that has to fit around flight dates.
Typical price
Implant 25-45m VND; All-on-4 from 125m VND per jaw
Location
222 Phan Chu Trinh, Hai Chau

Why we picked it

It publishes the most detailed price list of the three - implants by brand, full-arch work by system, crowns and veneers by material, each with a stated warranty - and its Da Nang clinic is organised around treatment staged across a trip rather than around a single appointment.

What we would book

Send your existing X-rays or scans and ask for a provisional plan before you book flights: days needed in Da Nang, number of visits, implant system, temporary and final restoration, what happens if the timeline slips, and one itemised total.

The clinic says its Phan Chu Trinh team handles full-mouth and All-on-4 cases on tight travel schedules. It is open seven days a week, about ten minutes from the My Khe hotels and fifteen from the airport, with a second Da Nang branch inside Vinmec International Hospital.

The price list is worth reading even if you treat elsewhere: Osstem 25m VND, ETK or Neodent 30m, Nobel Biocare or Straumann 40m, Straumann BLX 45m, each covering fixture, abutment and final crown, with the CBCT scan and consultation included. Full arches run from 125m VND per jaw on Osstem to 220m on Nobel or Straumann.

Main downside

It is not the cheapest option here: a Nobel or Straumann implant is 40m VND against Dr. Bao's 33m ceiling. Its own dental-tourism page also quotes All-on-4 at $6,731-11,154 while its price list starts at 125m VND, about $4,800. Treat the written quote as the only real number.

Skip it if

Skip it if you need one implant and the price is what decides. Its premium brands start where Dr. Bao's range ends.

Best Second Opinion

Lotus Smile Dental Clinic

Best for
A third written plan before you commit, and for general or cosmetic work sitting alongside the implants.
Location
104 Hoang Hoa Tham, Thanh Khe

Why we picked it

A full-service clinic with English-language patient information and a direct WhatsApp line: general and cosmetic dentistry, crowns and veneers, CT scans, bone grafts, All-on-4 and All-on-6.

What we would book

The same itemised plan you asked the other two for, written down, so all three can be read line by line against each other.

If the treatment it proposes differs from the other two, understand that difference before you compare the prices.

Main downside

It publishes no English price list, so you cannot compare it before you ask. Its English pages also carry 2024 datelines and give two different sets of opening hours, so confirm that what you read still describes the clinic today.

What sits inside an implant quote

Two clinics quote you an implant. One is $200 cheaper. That means nothing until you know what each number covers.

Ask for one written figure that names every part of the job and says what can still be added later:

  • Implant fixture, with the brand and exact model
  • Abutment
  • Final crown, and the material it is made from
  • CBCT scan and X-rays
  • Extraction, if the tooth is still there
  • Temporary tooth while the implant heals
  • Bone graft or sinus lift, if the bone needs it
  • Medication
  • Follow-up visits, and how many

The cheap quote is rarely the expensive mistake

On a cleaning, a small price difference is noise. On implants or a full arch, the costly errors are different in kind: the wrong treatment, components nobody named, procedures that appear once the work has started, or a schedule that collapses when you are already in Vietnam and your flight is on Friday.

Compare the treatment plans first. Compare the prices second.

What it should cost

These are the ranges the clinics on this page publish, not quotes. Two numbers that look alike can describe different work.

TreatmentPublished rangeWhat moves the price
Examination and scans200,000 - 600,000 VNDA consultation, a panoramic X-ray, or a full 3D CBCT scan.
Cleaning300,000 - 600,000 VNDHow much tartar there is. Gum treatment is priced separately.
Whitening1.5m - 6m VNDA take-home kit at the bottom, an in-office system at the top.
Crown3m - 12m VND per toothMaterial and laboratory: zirconia at the bottom, Lava at the top.
Veneer3m - 12m VND per toothComposite is not the same product as pressed porcelain.
Single implant21m - 45m VNDImplant brand, abutment, crown, bone condition, and whether grafting is needed.
All-on-4125m - 220m VND per jawImplant system, temporary and final bridge, and how complex the case is.

At roughly 26,000 VND to the dollar in September 2026, a full arch works out around $4,800 to $8,500. The VND figure is the one the clinic bills.

What to check before booking

  • How many days you need to be in Da Nang, and how many separate visits that means.
  • What happens between the surgery and the final crown, and whether you go home in between.
  • Who does the surgery, and whether the person you spoke to is the person operating.
  • What the warranty covers, for how long, and what you would have to fly back for to use it.
  • What the clinic charges if the plan changes once treatment has started.

Who should choose which

  • Dr. Bao — One missing tooth. Get the scan, the exact implant system and the finished-tooth price, then take that number to one other clinic.
  • Picasso — All-on-4 or a major reconstruction, where staging, temporary teeth and laboratory time matter nearly as much as the total. Get a second full plan before any deposit.
  • Lotus Smile — Crowns, veneers or a mix of smaller procedures, or the third opinion. When clinics propose different amounts of work, the cheapest per-tooth figure stops meaning anything.

Traps and red flags

  • A quote that says only "implant: $___" and never says what is inside it.
  • Pressure to pay a large deposit before you have a written treatment plan in your hands.
  • A recommendation for far more work than another clinic proposed, with no explanation of why.
  • A schedule that fits your flight perfectly and never mentions healing time or what happens if something slips.

Questions people ask

Can I get an implant during a short holiday?

The surgery can fit into a short stay. A finished implant often cannot: there is healing time and then the final crown. Ask for the full timeline, not just the days needed for the first appointment.

Should I choose a clinic before I fly?

For expensive work, get a preliminary plan and price before you build a trip around it. The diagnosis can still change after scans in the chair.

How many quotes should I get?

For a cleaning or a filling, one good clinic is enough. For implants, veneers, several crowns or full-mouth work, compare at least two written plans, and read what each one includes before you read what it costs.

Why does one of the three have no price?

Lotus Smile does not publish one in English, and we could not source a current figure we would stand behind. The field stays empty.
